Cidery Fun

Earlier this month, my friend Terri organized a trip for me and two other friends to all go to Windy Hill Orchard and Cidery.  This is located a little past the state line in SC, and looks like a fruit stand with a tasting bar. It was very rural and a neat atmosphere. There were little pigs and chickens and a cat running around. You got to try about four different kinds of hard cider. One was a Christmasy tasting one that I liked best (rusty gold?), another was a peach, ginger apple, and Hoppin Johns. It was a neat little day trip. The only thing we forgot to do was try the apple cider donuts :(.  Check the schedule for events and tasting schedule, I think they are kind of seasonal hours.
